Hong Kong

Mariko is an illustrator. She was born in Japan, grew up in Hong Kong, and was educated in the UK. She graduated from Central Saint Martin’s in London, where she is now an Associate Lecturer, and after six years in HK, currently splits her time between Asia and Europe. Alvin is a visual merchandiser and window designer. He is Chinese, was born in Hong Kong, and has worked in the design and fashion industry for over 15 years. He is based in HK, and works for many international clients. Mariko and Alvin have been friends since 1999, were neighbours for five years, and have often worked together commercially. This is their first artistic collaboration. Both love HK. Very much.
