Barney Cheng Studied Design at the Royal College of Art in London and Fashion Illustration and History of European Costume at the Parson’s School of Design in Paris, Barney is the designer and director of his own atelier “Yenrabi, Ltd.” He designs under the labels of Barney Cheng Couture –couture one-off creations; Célébration par Barney Cheng- order-to-size demi-couture collection consisting of evening and special occasion dressing; “Cheng…” –fine jewellery by Barney Cheng ( sold exclusively at Lane Crawford), and Barney Cheng Design Services – uniform designs for corporate n hospitality clients. Barney is also a contributor penning columns for China Vogue and Baccarat magazines. Barney Cheng is popular with the celebrity set in the Far East with clients including Gong Li, Joan Chen, Michelle Yeoh, Maggie Cheung, Maggie Q, Shu Qi, Michelle Reis, Kelly Chan, Carina Lau, and Rosamund Kwan.
