Mary Yu arrived in Hong Kong from Mainland China when she was eight years old. A passion for design led her to study at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion & Textiles and later a Master of Design. Despite her young age, she has already been involved in many commercial projects in Hong Kong and her designs are regared very highly for their creativity. Last year, Mary was invited to design the satff uniforms for the Hong Kong Olypmic Equestrain event of the 2008 Beijing Olympics. She now the Director of her own design company Mary Yu Design.
